A year of transformation and growth

We started 2021 with ambitious plans and visions and are ending the year having made huge leaps forward in our agency transformation and business growth.

Leadership changes were announced in April and Teresa Booth (previously Director of Client Services & Expansion) officially took over as acting CEO in July.

In addition to already being fully embedded in the data insight industry, Teresa has been with the Ikano Group for over 15 years so fully embraces the strong Ikano culture and values.

We have also recruited talented new co-workers at cross-functional levels who bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and new energy to our existing data and insight leadership team.

The challenges of lockdown have only strengthened our relationships with our clients and with each other. With co-workers based in the UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Russia and Mexico, we have worked even harder to stay connected and be there for each other while continuing to provide a second-to-none service to our valuable clients.

We have worked in multiple sectors for internationally-based clients including retail, banking, HR and industrial manufacturing. We even managed to fit in a few face-to-face overseas client trips this year. It’s so rewarding when we see our clients’ reaping the benefits and experiencing the power of our data insight.

Worked closely with IKEA Philippines on the successful IKEA Family launch with research and analysis, customer journey mapping and loyalty data dashboards.

Ikano Retail

Became Ikano Retail’s (IKEA franchisee) main data analytics, technical and business intelligence partner for the build of an enterprise-wide data warehouse.

Ikano Bank

Used data-driven insights and predictive modelling to help Ikano Bank drive customer retention

HR recruitment app

Ikano Industry - Mexico

Built an HR application for Ikano Industry in Mexico to streamline the process, time and resources required for recruitment.

Location Optimiser

IKEA Jurong - Singapore

Used our Location Optimiser product to provide the IKEA Jurong store in Singapore with valuable customer visitation profiling and predictive insight around store locations.

Putting sustainability at the heart of our business

Our key sustainability objective is to focus on helping other businesses to measure progress towards their sustainability goals.

We have worked closely with each of the Ikano Group this year to help them on their sustainability journey by creating customised sustainability data dashboards so that they can clearly visualise their data and track their journey in the focus areas that matter most.

In addition to the skills that we bring to the sustainability table, the benefit of working with the Ikano Group companies is that we have an inherent understanding of the Group’s values and sustainability ambitions.
